Welcome back to Coffee Beanery’s Baking Challenge Showdown! Britain, Patti, Laurie, and the team are diving into the kitchen to see who can bake the best treats. From cookies and cupcakes to macarons and sorbet, we’re putting our skills to the test in a hilarious and delicious competition.
The Baking Challenge:
Today’s contestants:
- Jessica’s Pink Sugar Cookies – A Crumbl cookie dupe paired with our Pink Sugar Cookie Coffee, offering a perfectly sweet and salty combo.
- Patti’s Pink Vanilla Cupcakes – Paired with our Pink Vanilla Cupcake Coffee, these cupcakes were a hit, even though the fridge worked against them a bit.
- Britain’s Raspberry Sorbet – Made with a Ninja Creami, this tart treat gave us a refreshing break.
- Laurie’s Chocolate Cherry Macarons – The most difficult treat of all, Laurie tackled macarons with her usual charm, capturing the chaos on video.
Coffee Pairings:
Each baked good is paired with one of our delicious Coffee Beanery flavors, including:
- Pink Sugar Cookie Coffee
- Pink Vanilla Cupcake Coffee
- Raspberry Coffee
- Chocolate Cherry Macaron Coffee
The flavors enhanced each treat, with Raspberry and Chocolate Cherry standing out.
Behind-the-Scenes Laughs:
The chaos and comedy were nonstop, especially with Laurie’s macaron-making journey. From confused expressions to measuring exact 1-inch circles, Laurie’s video had us laughing the whole time. You won’t want to miss her hilarious kitchen antics as she navigates terms like "lava batter" and attempts to whip egg whites to the perfect peak!
Britain’s sorbet, though not a traditional baked good, added a nice palate cleanser, while Patti’s cupcakes shone with their rich buttercream frosting. Jessica’s cookies had the perfect texture and flavor, making them a strong contender.
Who Will Win?
The team agreed that Jessica’s Pink Sugar Cookies took the lead, with Laurie’s macarons impressing despite the unexpected challenges. Patti’s cupcakes and Britain’s sorbet added fun twists, and we’ll be bringing in more team members to decide the final winner. Stay tuned as the trophy is up for grabs!
