September is half over and it’s an important month for many reasons. It’s the start of fall and football, but it’s also Prostate Cancer Awareness month and Sept 30 in International Podcast Day.

All men should get tested for prostate cancer starting at the age of 40 years old. If the man is at high risk (African American or family history of Prostate Cancer) he should get tested at 35 years old. Prostate Cancer is very curable if detected early (90% cure rate)…..but is deadly if not detected early.
