Varla Ventura is the author of Sheroes and The Book of the Bizarre, and is a lover of all things odd and unusual and truly freaky. Her favorite holiday is Halloween, which she celebrates almost every day. She lives in the attic of an old Victorian in San Francisco.
Roy Holman is a yoga teacher, author, and healer who leads yoga retreats in Washington, Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Sedona. His new book, Healing Self, Healing Earth: Awakening Presence, Power, and Passion, provides a concise and clear understanding of the important topics of our time and how tending to our own personal growth can lead to the betterment of all.

Tonight on Whispers Radio, Jordan Cline welcomes Dr Jim Stein to the show
We discussed Jim’s book “The Paranormal Equation: A New Scientific Perspective on Remote Viewing, Clairvoyance, and Other Inexplicable Phenomena” Most of us think science is incapable of explaining supernatural phenomena. This would include everything from ghosts and communication with the dead to extrasensory perception (ESP), precognition, and telekinesis. Scientists are generally highly skeptical of the existence of such phenomena because of the lack of the rigorous documentation that science requires. Nevertheless, many great scientists have believed–and do believe–in the supernatural.
Jim Stein received his B.A. from Yale and his Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a Professor of Mathematics at California State University in Long Beach, California. He has served as a consultant to educational and textbook review committees for Texas and California, and has worked on projects involving mathematics education for both the State of California and the National Science Foundation. His background includes working on projects related to the moon landing in the 1960s and as a stock options trader during the 1980s.
His books focus on what mathematics has been able to tell us about the Universe we live in, and how that knowledge can be used to improve our lives. Unfortunately, he has yet to find a way to use mathematics to improve his ability to play either tennis (to the relief of his opponents) or piano (to the despair of his neighbors).

Nicole is the Founder of Tri City Ghost Hunters Society of Michigan.
 TCGHS is a non-profit paranormal research society that focuses on historical preservation & helping individuals in need. The team was founded in Michigan’s Tri-Cities and now investigates nationally. These well-equipped investigators are ready for any case and have had the pleasure of investigating some of the most feared locations on Earth, including Waverly Hills and Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum. TCGHS, which was founded on July 16, 2009, has even investigated twice with the TAPS team from Syfy’s “Ghost Hunters”. These seasoned paranormal investigators have been featured in over 15, national and international, media sources. The team does all of their investigations completely free of charge and has the utmost respect for your privacy. All investigations remain confidential, unless otherwise stated.
During the show we discussed her group, her beliefs, and she shared with us some of the EVP that her group have captured as evidence!
