The Coalition have done it. Gears of War E Day has taken the gaming world by storm delivering a visually astounding heavyweight title with the tightest Gears gameplay ever. But the game is not without its controversies, also spurred on by the sea of Playstation fanboys still bitter over the lacklustre nature of Insomniac's Wolverine.

Another set of mass layoffs besieges Xbox but the Xbox community remains defiant in its jubilation mostly because the Halo IP might get a lifeline as Halo Studios gets shuttered down to support studio status and Activision takes over the IP. Major changes are announced as Xbox makes it clear, its not messing around anymore.

Xbox seems to be gaining steam as its goodwill continues to rise amidst the Kojima connection whereas Playstation continues to get absolutely ridiculed on social media with other brands even chipping to take shots at the market leader.

Not a great week for the Playstation Nation as the long-standing ties between Sony and industry legend Hideo Kojima come to an abrupt end as Physint not only gets cancelled for Playstation but its Xbox that saves the IP! Then Wolverine's reviews come out and it turns out to me pretty mediocre by what people expect from 'Sony's standards'. Is Playstation's spell over the industry now over? Can Xbox make a comeback?

Finally! GTA 6 got its gameplay reveal and boy was it something. Oh and DLSS 5 got leaked which basically made every manlet cry about "AI slop" as their ageing AMD cards and old consoles made them lash out on the next generation of tech.

Man what a horrid week for Rockstar and their staff. GTA 6 has leaked again just mere days before the big grand gameplay reveal. Its not a good situation. Meanwhile Xbox is withdrawing from disclosing NPD's, China just puts Western devs to shame....again and Playstation is being Playstation.

The previews for Wolverine are out along with new gameplay clips and details. These have divided gamers. One half thinks that the game looks great and the mechanics are fine and that Logan sitting down to pee or exclusively drinking almond milk doesn't make him a b*tch and then there's the other half whose brains are actually functioning.
