Today’s guest is Jo Fairley: one of the country’s foremost entrepreneurs, as well as a speaker, journalist and pioneer of the organic food movement. 

Jo left school at 16 and went on to become the UK’s youngest ever magazine editor at the age of just 23. After a successful career in journalism, she co-founded her first company, Green and Black’s chocolate - now approaching a £100 million a year brand. She has gone on to set up a number of other successful companies: Judges Bakery, The Wellington Centre and most recently, The Perfume Society. 

From running a business with your partner to what really makes a good mentor, Jo has some invaluable insights on the worlds of entrepreneurship and female leadership. You also won’t want to miss her excellent story about the time she accidentally found herself at a UKIP event and ended up calling out the sexist ‘dinosaurs’ on the panel.
