While the exact number of hits EZ Clean carried out is unknown, records indicate that they may have been working for years, leaving a trail of unsolved murders in their wake while satisfied clients cashed out insurance policies and disappeared into better lives.

But when EZ Clean crosses paths with stay-at-home-mom crime writer Finlay Donovan, their carefully built empire starts to crumble, leading to their eventual capture and ending their lucrative side-hustle.

So was EZ Clean really just a cold blooded killer motivated by greed? Or did this killer have hidden depths, motivated by a twisted sense of moral justice when clients were failed by the justice system?
