Serial Killer: The Angel Killer of Cook County
Someone is stalking men in the back alleys of Chicago. And not just any men. The kind that harbor dark minds and darker desires. The kind of men that kill their wives, abandon their children, and abuse their secretaries. The kind of men that aren’t missed by the women in their lives.
And there is no man in Chicago with darker thoughts than Dennis Ferry, who is already caught up in a potential corruption scandal currently under investigation by the state’s attorney.
Then State’s Attorney Newhouse is sent, unconscious, the hospital by a car bomb, and it seems the investigation into Dennis Ferry will be shelved—if not forgotten entirely—until his oldest daughter, Ruby Newhouse, a girl with a penchant and passion for the law herself, takes up her father’s work.
But Ruby Newhouse isn’t the only woman with Dennis Ferry in her sights.
The Angel Killer of Cook County wants a piece of him too.
And while the Angel Killer isn’t the most prolific serial killer to ever walk the streets of Chicago, she is the most beloved. Although her identity remains a mystery as, to this day, she has yet to be caught.
