As Serie A returns from the International Break we have finally seen minimum separation from 2nd to 5th place as Lazio have some breathing room after their win against Roma. Napoli will host Milan in a battle of two of the top teams, even though it should be said that there is no team remotely close to Napoli at the top of the standings. Juventus will host Verona still holding confidence that they will get their 15 point deduction reversed and still only sit 7 points back of a Champions League position. Fiorentina’s run of good results will be tested as they will be away against Inter this week, who will look to bounce back from their loss to Juventus. Spezia will host Salernitana in a battle of two teams looking to distance themselves from the drop zone with Verona still being close enough in points to make an interesting relegation race.
