This episode was so good that there were many moments of high emotions and many moments of laughter. But at the core is the relationship between two Doctor regenerations and Rose Tyler. This episode's emotional toll is heavy, but the storytelling is so good that it seems like this was inevitable. On top of it all, we get an epic confrontation between two of the deadliest threats the doctor has ever come across.
