What a surprise this episode turned out to be. How can an episode that was written in 2009 be so relevant 11 years later? While the episode’s tone mirrors that of a classic Twilight Zone, it retains a very true to its self message of optimism at its core. It just goes to show you that Doctor Who wows you with an unexpected gut-punch of an episode just when you think the best episodes are ahead.
