What the Windows 11 announcement means for you.

To check now whether your existing device will be able to upgrade to Windows 11 search for “windows 11 requirements checker” in your search engine and there are many websites that include links but for safety and security reasons you are best going to the Microsoft site itself https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-11and then scroll down until you see check for comparability and download app which will download WindowsPCHealthCheckSetup.msi

To establish what chip is in your device currently navigate to Settings > System > About. Look under  “Device specifications.” The name of your computer’s processor and its  speed are displayed to the right of “Processor."

Once you know your fitted processor check to see if it is on either of these lists.
