This episode continues the series on Caribbean Perspectives: Towards Developing A Caribbean, Diaspora and Pan African Journal: Identity Part 2. We had introduced the podcast series on a previous podcast and discussed the issue of Literature as being a credible record of God’s with man. The podcast is recording of a lecture from a class I taught at the Jamaica Theological Seminary on Caribbean Thought. Today we continue the episode looking at Identity exploring the issue of Jesus the Jew and American Exceptionalism and Caribbean and Diaspora identity. The topics seems far fetched but is explored together within this lecture for a particular purpose. I explain the purpose as I present to the lecture to the class.
