As human beings made in God's image, we are not bodies with a soul, but souls with a body. Interestingly, just as our bodies can get dirty or become polluted, so too can our souls. Things like septic thoughts, radioactive relationships, poisonous emotions and acidic anger can destroy us from the inside. This Fall, at The River, we're going to go on a soul cleansing adventure together. We're going to detox our spirits before the Lord. This Sunday, the cleanse begins.
