In today's episode, we're anchored in Matthew 13, beginning in verse 24 and positioning our hearts to hear the parable of the weeds. We take the stance of the disciples and glean from the sower what he means by the parable of the weeds, as explained beginning in verse 36.
Skandalon, in Greek, as explained by Bible study tools, means to trap, snare, a stumbling block; any impediment placed in the way and causing one to stumble or fall, and can be used to define: any person or thing by which one is (entrapped) drawn into error or sin.
We set our hearts to understanding Jesus as the sower, the Kingdom of God as the seed, and the field as the world.
May we anticipate the harvest! "Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. (Matthew 13:43)
