In this sermon for the 2nd Sunday of Lent, Pastor Scott explores God's call of Abram (Abraham) in Genesis 12:1-4. The calling invites Abram to leave everything that's familiar and safe, but also hopeless, in order to move into the unknown promise. Those familiar with the story know that Abram does trust God and believe those promises, which is credited as righteousness. Likewise we are called to trust in the promise of God's action of salvation through Jesus, even when its scary and makes no sense to us.
