In this sermon, taken from Matthew 9:35-10:8, Pastor Scott explores the empowerment and assignment, by Jesus, upon the disciples/apostles to join with him in the ministry which he is currently doing. This differs from the eventual charge which will come with the Great Commission post-resurrection. Pastor explores how the various voices and identities of the 12 disciples reflects the multitude of individual lives that Christ brings into the body. This is the assigned text for June 14th, 2020, the Second Sunday after Pentecost.
