What is the ultimate goal of preaching?
The early church devoted themselves to Scripture because all of it points to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. As we study 1 & 2 Timothy, we see that the preaching of the Word is a sacred duty designed to teach, correct, and train us so that we are fully equipped to follow Him. When we gather to hear the sermon, we are being transformed into His image.
