If you’re like me, the only first-hand experience you have with sheep are from visits to a petting zoo or the county fair, and you’ve probably never even met a real-life shepherd. And even if a person knows next to nothing about the details of Jesus’ life, or much of the Bible, for a lot of folks when Jesus said He is the Good Shepherd, those words somehow connect with something deep in our hearts and imaginations.
