Sunday, December 20, 2020. Hosea 11:1-7 | "I Loved Him." If we could know all there is to know about God, only then could we know all there is to know about love. Sunday, November 22, 2020. Joshua 24:29-33 | "The Servant of the LORD [Communion Service]." Becoming a servant is not something that is earned, but rather it is learned. Joshua began as Moses’ assistant. At his death, he is called “the servant of the Lord.” As the book of Joshua ends, three deaths are proclaimed. Each anticipates for us the death of Jesus, our Joshua. This sermon is the last in a preaching series through Joshua and helps us learn what it means to “proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes” (1 Cor 11:26) through the celebration of Communion. 

Sunday, November 15, 2020. Joshua 24:1-28 | "Serve Him." Can you choose God? You might be surprised to learn that God is not an option. If you choose, you lose! God is God whether we choose Him or not. This makes Him unique and unlike any other. In Jesus we are saved not to choose Him, but to serve Him forever. 

Sunday, November 8, 2020. Joshua 23:1-16 | "Be Very Careful." Joshua is old and advanced in years. His final speeches do not divide property, but dictate priorities. The first priority is essential for the life of the people — they must love the Lord. 

Sunday, November 1, 2020. Joshua 22:1-34 | "To Be A Witness." Israel built an altar for a unique purpose. This altar was not for worship, but to be a witness for their children. What does our worship today say to our children about Jesus?

Sunday, October 25, 2020. Joshua 20:1-21:45 | "Not One Word Failed." God does not prioritize. Instead, God promises. And when God makes a promise, God keeps His word! This message is simple: God is trustworthy. God is dependable. God is reliable. God does what He says He will do.

Sunday, October 18, 2020. Joshua 13:1-19:51 | "Old and Advanced in Years." A time will come when we all must invest in the future by way of an inheritance. The best inheritance any of us may leave on Earth is to pass on Jesus to future generations! In this message, we learn to obey God completely even when obedience will not bring to completion the totality of the work God has begun or is carrying forward in us.
