In this sermon, based on Mark 1:21-28, Pastor Scott explores Jesus' first example of public ministry, in which he exorcises a demon from the synagogue in Capernum. Jesus silences the demon, using his divine authority to overcome that which is hindering the life of the individual. This is the assigned gospel text for Sunday January 31st, 2021, the 4th Sunday after Epiphany.
