Welcome to the second Sunday in the Season of Lent, a period in the Christian calendar that marks 40 weekdays of prayer, fasting, and contemplation leading up to Easter Sunday. In Lent, we are reminded to consider the example of Christ, examine ourselves, and confess the difference in community.
