December 10 is the second Sunday in the Church season called Advent. Last week, we heard how Jesus was sent by God to save us from all sins, even the ones we do to ourselves. While it’s true that His salvation means we don’t have to be afraid of God’s anger and punishment, Advent is a time when we are reminded that there might be parts of our lives that probably need to be “straightened up” - but we don’t need to be afraid of God - we can know that He loves us!
