Keith invites us to "drop the needle" on this first Sunday after Christmas by looking at Simeon's song in Luke 2:22-40, a song you may not be as familiar with. Keith invites us into the story of Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus the first few weeks of Jesus' life and also invites us to share Simeon's hope and anticipation. He suggests this Christmas we do not extinguish the light of Christ, rather we pass it on to others around us. Will you share the light?
As always you can watch this week's sermon on our YouTube Channel:
Also, it's not too late to give to our Christmas offering to support the work of Oak Lawn UMC as they provide shelter to our homeless neighbor's during these cold nights. You can give at www.wrumc.org/christmaseve.
