Jesus Christ answers our deepest thirst and our gnawing hunger. He is the inextinguishable Light in overwhelming darkness, the unchanging Truth in our self-created confusion, the homeward Way when we are lost. He is the Vine from whom we grow and the Life for which we desperately long. He is I AM. Our Lenten series focuses our attention to reflect Paul in Philippians 3:10-12: "I want to know Christ--yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead."
