The idea that God is both one God and yet also three persons (the doctrine of the Holy Trinity) can be vexing. To some, it might seem like Christians have tried to get three for the price of one. So how do we understand the Trinity-- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? The key lies not in understanding the mechanics, but in entering the Mystery.
