Sermon: Jesus Already Voted…for You! | Matthew 5:1-12 | The Sermon on the Mount
There has been a big push for early voting this year. If you haven’t voted yet, remember that election day is this Tuesday. When someone votes it’s a way of choosing who they want as a leader. As of today, we don’t know who the majority of “we the people” want as the president of the United States. In the kingdom of God, however, there is no question about who our Lord wants as His people. There is no doubt concerning the outcome of His election. It is already done. Jesus already voted…for you. You are His elect, those who are blessed from before the creation of the world.
