Why does God do that?
We know how God does great and powerful deeds; he is God and can do all things. We wonder sometimes what leads God to do what he does. Jesus displays power over nature to strengthen the confidence of his followers.

Prayer of the Day
O Lord our God, govern the nations on earth and direct the affairs of this world so that your Church may worship you in peace and joy; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
