“People will come from east and west and north and south and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God.” This is Jesus’ promise. In it we find joy and purpose. Jesus died and rose to forgive the sins of everyone, and all those across ages and miles who believe in him are united with God and with all other believers on earth and in heaven. In John 17, Jesus prays for the unity of his people.
