Sometimes the greatest act of faith is stepping forward before the water moves.
In Joshua 3–4, the priests step into the Jordan before it parts, and God makes a way for an entire nation. But God didn’t want the moment to be forgotten—He told them to gather stones from the river and build a memorial so they would always remember what He had done.
When we remember God’s faithfulness in the past, it strengthens our faith for whatever lies ahead.
