For our second Sunday in Lent, Phil took us to the Garden, specifically the Garden of Gethsemane. He spoke of his experiences in this garden when he traveled to the Holy Land and how olive oil press gives us insight into the immense pressure Jesus was facing.
Phil invites us to consider the suffering of Jesus as Christ's solidarity with humanity. To live is to suffer, what do we do with that suffering, and is there meaning to be made from it.
Follow along in the text: Mark 14:32-42 Let us know your thoughts on this sermon and how we can be in solidarity with you through the suffering as well.
