This year most of the Gospel lessons are in the Gospel according to Saint Mark. These readings talk about Jesus’ teachings, His miracles, and His action-packed ministry. But each of the readings also has a “takeaway” from Jesus Himself! We’re focusing on these “red-letter” verses this year. 

There are only two Sundays left in this church year, so we’ll be hearing what Jesus has to say about the end of time, when He comes again in glory. This week, our red letter verse is Mark 13:27 “He will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds.”
