Does God appear to be silent in the face of your suffering? Dare we believe that God is a God of mercy--even when our circumstances might tempt us to think otherwise? In our gospel today we hear of a woman's faith in Jesus' mercy, in the character of God; a faith which clung to God and trusted in Him to be merciful. Her faith was not in vain, and serves as an example to us. Our God is merciful and delights in being reminded of this!
