"Broken Hearts and Broken Promises" goes through Jesus' teaching from the Sermon on the Mount as found in Matthew 5:27-37. This message goes over Jesus' teaching in regards to desire, divorce, and deceit. Jesus deepens the Old Testament commandments by interpreting them to include what occurs “in the heart” - to include what goes on inside of us, before the external act of sin.
