Continuing Jesus leads us to Isaiah 62 which the word speaks about the redeeming of Israel mirrored in our continued study in Leviticus 22. In this scripture we see the description of the.clean and the unclean and the children of Israel being sanctified and separated were not to come near the holy things physically unclean. Jesus shows us the same thing in Matthew 5 about having our heart conscious, & spirit clean when we come before god making amends with our brother or sister. The old testament pointed us to cleanliness physically while the new testament pointed us to cleanliness spiritually. Jesus leads us to come before him at our best but also depending on him to bring us to our best.Amen
