In the second chapter of the book of Ruth we see Naomi and Ruth making their journey back to Bethlehem, the hometown of Naomi. Now more than ever, the narrator begins to reveal what God is doing, and how he's working all things for the good of his children. Though Naomi is bitter, and even blames God in a sense, he doesn't forsake her.
