We are often tempted to think too highly of ourselves and too little of God. Like the older brother in Jesus’ parable, the dutiful, cold-hearted rule keeper can begin to believe that God owes a reward for outward obedience done for personal gain. But the Father lovingly invites us out of the cold and into the warmth of His house where The Heart of Living Hope offers new life filled with hope, joy, and peace.
