In this sermon, based on Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23, Pastor Scott explores Jesus' Parable of the Sower. All to often we tend to default into an interpretation that we need to try and make ourselves be the good soil. However, it is not the action of the soil that ultimately makes the seed grow. The seed does that on its own. Pastor Scott explores the reality of our lack of control, especially in our current situation. We see this in our day to day lives. We see it within the parable as well as other scriptures. And yet God's promises to us remain.
