Once again, we are looking at the life impact that the training of the 12 apostles can have on us. All the bible is meant to be life applicable, but when we look at the training of the 12 apostles in roughly two years, we see in them what God can do in us if we are only available, willing, and opened to being trained by God. It is challenging to be trained, or disciplined by God, but God only does this to those that He loves in order to make them all that He created them to be. And as one pastor stated, “You find that the things you let go of while following Jesus were the things that were going to destroy you in the end.” Letting God train us is well worth the temporary discomfort.
