This week Stew Sheckler kicks off a new sermon series called Why Christmas? The common story about a baby being born in Bethlehem is well known. What is less known is why that Baby was born? Stew goes into Israel's captivity by empires and how Jesus came to free Israel from the empires that would hold it captive, but to destroy the core of empires, sin, thus freeing us all from our captivity.
