Henry is a fourth-year medical student at Loma Linda University. He grew up in San Francisco and completed his Biology undergraduate degree at Cornell University. Henry came to Loma Linda after hearing an old AudioVerse recording by a former student. To his surprise, that former student—now faculty—was assigned to be his LIFE community mentor. Henry is grateful for God’s leading and excited to begin IM residency here at Loma Linda. He hopes to follow in his family’s footsteps of serving others through medicine and mission work.

Jerny is an international dental student at Loma Linda. She was born and raised in Colombia but has been in the US since 2021 pursuing her dream of becoming a dentist. Her journey has not always been easy, but time and time again, she has been amazed at and reminded of God’s goodness and love for her.
