Welcome to week two of our series For Our Neighbors as we ask two important questions #1 Who is my neighbor and #2 what does it mean to be a neighbor? Because the answer to these questions will determine how you see and treat other people.

There are times in life when we can see the destination ahead – a new job, graduation, the birth of a child, retirement. That being said, just because you know what’s next doesn’t mean you’re prepared for what’s next. Even better, how do you get ready for what’s ahead when you can’t even see what’s around the next bend in this road called life?

It’s clear from the Bible that God has carefully designed the plan on which to build God’s Church, illustrated in stones/rocks. First, there are the reminders of God’s lovingly powerful provisions (Memory Stones). Then comes the foundation, the Cornerstone, Who is Jesus Christ Himself, providing identity and direction. Finally, there are the building blocks, the Living Stones, the people – that’s us! -- through whom God continues to work and speak. As we move to a new building, let’s be sure we allow God to build it by God’s design!

We all go through moves and changes in life and often we’re traveling to places we’ve never been. It’s up to us to figure out how to prepare and pack. But how do we know what we’ll need if the road ahead is unknown? How can we know what we don’t know? “Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisors they succeed.” – Proverbs 15:22

We’re all going somewhere. Arriving at any new destination means change and for most of us, change creates stress. Just like when we ride on a roller coaster, sail on a boat or travel in a car, life can give us motion sickness. We’re thrown off balance. So how do you prepare for what’s next when the anxiety of transition has you fighting motion sickness along the way?

When one season ends and a new one begins, we all wonder what comes next. That question can be exciting and stressful. So, how do you best navigate life’s biggest transitions? Sometimes it's a simple as remembering and living out what’s most important.

This week Cornerstone began the move to our new Crystal Campus. Whether it's a move, job change, marriage or retirement, when one season ends, a new one begins. It can leave us wondering, "What comes next.?" That question can be exciting and stressful.
