Luke 11:21–22 paints the picture of a strong man guarding his house, confident in his armor… until someone stronger shows up. That’s the tension we live in. The enemy doesn’t always kick the door in with a sledgehammer. Sometimes he’s patient. Sometimes he takes the armor one piece at a time. A compromise here, a distraction there. A loosened grip on prayer. A neglected Word. Before long, the breastplate is gone, the shield is down, and you’re standing exposed thinking you’re still armed.

But the truth is, Jesus is the only one strong enough to stop the stripping. He doesn’t just defend; He disarms the one who thought he had you secure.

“And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely… He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.”

In the closing verses of Revelation, the invitation is given and the promise is sealed: Christ is coming quickly.
