Fathers are to disciple and encourage their children. The Bible shows us that fathers are to be respected and encouraged to take up their responsibilities with an eye toward the Lord.

Marriage is not just something that is practical to society or beneficial for raising children (although it is also that). It is a divine design for human relationships.

The model for our earthly families is the family of God

Deacons are a blessing to the Church and an encouragement to believers to serve one another.

One of the things that we see in the gospel accounts is that Jesus prompted strong responses from the people with whom He interacted. Any view of Jesus as a plain, inoffensive teacher contradicts the facts.
