Servant: God’s Instrument to Restore

Listen Later

When people speak of Jesus, they will typically point to His teaching or compassion. Sometimes people will identify his mercy or use him to justify a political position. However, the Scriptures have always called upon people to accept that Jesus was truly a servant. His life, death, and resurrection were all used to describe his role as a servant. His example of being a servant is typically isolated only to a few thoughts, but truly Jesus as a “servant” had specific implications and intentions. By focusing on 4 passages from Isaiah the prophet, “Servant: God’s Instrument” invites us to consider truly what it means to say that Jesus was a Servant. Using Isaiah 49:1-7, Pastor Butler will speak to us about how Jesus Christ came to restore all creation back to its Creator. . Join us Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 10:30 am for worship.
