Did you know that the very cells in your body live to serve others? It’s true. Your red blood cells only live a few months, and your white blood cells may live up to a year. Your brain neurons are the only cells that last a lifetime. The body is continually rejuvenating itself, and in order for that to happen, your cells need to be willing to give themselves up. A cell gives its life so another might live. The Gospel of Christ is literally written in your cells. Jesus lived among us to reveal God to man, but also to teach us the proper mindset for making humanity better: For the whole to be healthy, we must be servants.
