How do we stay ready and watchful as men in these distracting times?

In this episode we unpack Luke 12:35-36 — “Let your loins be girded and your lamps burning… Blessed are those servants whom the Lord when He comes shall find watching.”

God calls us to three powerful things:

• Be prepared (loins girded) — live in good conscience, forgive yourself, and stay in pursuit of Him

• Keep your lamps burning — cultivate a real, living relationship with God through His Word, prayer, and time in the wilderness

• Be a watchman — stay vigilant, on guard against the enemy while waiting for the Lord’s return

We also draw from St. Robert Bellarmine’s *The Art of Dying Well* and the call of the wilderness in Scripture — where God meets us away from the noise of sports, news, and politics. As men, we thrive when we get our hands dirty in God’s creation and find that deep peace only He gives.
