Service companies are not bad as projected nowadays

I have worked for all type of companies in my career. This episode is based on my experiences.

Nowadays most people in product based companies and FAANG portrait service companies in very bad light.

Like most of them have only support job or enhancement projects, but it is not completely true.

Yes the big five service companies have a lot of support and testing jobs, but they are not all service companies.

Even a 10 person team doing projects for Indian or US clients are service companies and they do work on very challenging projects.

Even in those 5 big service companies, if a person is stuck in Support or Manual testing job, it is his/her problem also.

They didn't talked to their manager or tried to get into development.

When i was in a support job, i did small development projects always after work. It was either for the company or my learning.So, nobody stops you from moving to development.

Plus i have worked on some of the best projects in my life when I worked in Client teams as Consultant through Service companies.

All product companies and FAANG hires Consultant in India also. They work with their team to learn and produce amazing software.
