The customer is always right even at the cost of the workers self-esteem.  Berating servers has been a constant issue in American culture.  The way we speak to others reflects our level of personal awareness.  Being kind is free, but not cheap.  How service jobs train workers to ignore their inner guidance system thus practicing the relationship abuse dynamic.
