Species Spotlight

This week’s tree is the Ashe Juniper or Juniperus ashei, also known as Mountain Cedar. This shrub or small to medium-sized tree is an evergreen Texas native. It can grow up to 30 feet tall with a trunk up to 16 inches in diameter.
