How we think of ourselves in relation to others is extremely important. So often we do things simply to impress others; just like the guests in the parable Jesus uses in Luke 14:7-14. Jesus taught here about the risks of trying to elevate our own status, and the rewards of focusing our heart on serving others. In this sermon we find out how a life anchored in Jesus should be one of Service over Status and how that can transform our relationships and impact here on earth.
